Overview

HP OpenView Operations Developer Toolkit, a software development kit (SDK), provides customers and HP OpenView partners with a cost-effective, open platform to develop and test their integration and instrumentation modules for HP Operations Manager software.

In addition to the full functionality of HP OpenView Operations (OVO) and Service Navigator, the Operations Developer Toolkit comes with specific manuals and a license to manage five nodes from the central management system.

Features

  • Basic OVO template and application integration can be achieved very quickly
  • OVO is based on industry standards, such as TCP/IP, X.11, SNMPv1, SNMPv2C, and Java
  • The toolkit provides a rich set of open and flexible application programming interfaces (APIs)
  • Integration created for a specific OVO release is easily adapted to future versions of the product
